As part of an effort to spur additional nationwide growth, popular sandwich chain is slashing its fees through the end of November.

Under the Westville-based fast casual brand’s “Prosper with Primo” incentive, any new development agreement finalized between Oct. 2 and Nov. 30 will come with a 50% discount on initial franchise fees, the company announced.

For multiunit candidates who lock in deals for three or more locations, the limited-time promotion also includes royalty abatement, the chain said.

The offer comes as the brand – which was recently ranked as America’s No. 1 sandwich shop in USA Today’s readers’ choice awards – looks to continue an impressive streak of four years of increased average unit volume of growth.

Founded 30 years ago in Philadelphia, the chain is popular for its diverse menu featuring specialty sandwiches made with high-quality meats and cheeses piled high on fresh-baked rolls. Now, the company has more than 100 locations across the country, including over 30 restaurants in New Jersey, and says it is “well on its way” to launching 120 stores by the end of 2023.

Within the next five years, PrimoHoagies plans to add 300 to 350 new restaurants.

“We’re immensely proud of the growth we’ve achieved, and this promotion is a testament to our commitment to both our franchisees and the brand,” said Nicholas Papanier Jr., owner and CEO of PrimoHoagies. “We look forward to welcoming new partners as we continue on our upward trajectory, curating hoagies that embody the brand’s legacy.”

To continue its growth, PrimoHoagies is seeking prospective franchisees across 25 states in the eastern, midwestern and southern parts of the country, with a particular focus on markets within Texas, Florida and Colorado.

For PrimoHoagies, the average franchisee fee is between $15,000 to $40,000, with 6% royalty, according to the brand’s franchising site, ownaprimo.com.

Barry Friedman, vice president of franchise and business development at PrimoHoagies, commented, “Franchise owners are the linchpin of our endeavor to establish PrimoHoagies as a household name. We’re not only dedicated to creating extraordinary dining experiences, we’re equally committed to nurturing the success and prosperity of our franchisees. If you’re poised to invest in us, rest assured, we’re poised to invest in you. Expect unparalleled support and an invitation to be part of an ever-expanding legacy.”
