Ribbon-cutting ceremonies around New Jersey celebrated the latest real estate developments and launches.

  • Parker Family Health Center, Brookdale Community College, and the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners celebrated the opening of New Jersey’s first free dental clinic of its kind with a June 16 ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility located on BCC’s campus in Lincroft. State health officials, elected representatives, community leaders, healthcare professionals, volunteers and supporters gathered to mark the occasion. BCC noted dual impacts: expanding access to oral healthcare while also strengthening the local healthcare workforce. With support from the state, the new clinic was created through a partnership between Parker Family Health Center, BCC and the county commissioners. The clinic will provide free dental services to low-income Monmouth County residents who lack access to dental insurance while also serving as a hands-on training site for the next generation of dental professionals. - PROVIDED BY BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
  • Kaplan Cos. is celebrating 65 years of building homes and neighborhoods in Sayreville in 2026. In marking the anniversary of its first endeavor in the borough, Kaplan Cos. cut the red ribbon June 16 for its latest development there, a 142-unit rental community on Drwal Place known as Camelot on Main Street. Four generations of the Kaplan family joined with local officials and special guests to launch the award-winning community. During the event, Kaplan Cos. also honored the staff and students at Bombers Beyond Café on Main Street. Operated by the Sayreville School District’s Transitions program, the community-focused coffee shop provides vocational training to young adults with special needs. A $1,000 donation was given to the nonprofit as part of the event. Here, students and staff of the Bombers Beyond Café and members of the Drwal family join in the celebration with the Kaplan family. - PROVIDED BY KAPLAN COS.
  • Executives from Sterling Properties and Danbro Properties joined project partners June 10 to celebrate the opening of Canterly Place, a new 300-unit luxury rental community located at 51 Okner Parkway in Livingston. The community features 300 upscale one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments; resort-style amenities; and access to employment centers, retail destinations and wider transportation networks. The building consists of 240 market rates units and 60 affordable units, with a select amount allocated to Jewish Services for the Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled. Canterly Place was designed by Lessard Design, with interiors by Mary Cook Associates. Northwestern Mutual served as a financial partner on the development. - PROVIDED BY STERLING PROPERTIES GROUP
  • A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place May 30 at Beem Light Sauna, an infrared sauna, and red-light therapy studio located at 282 South Ave. in Fanwood. Owners Kara and Ron Shovlin and staff were joined by Ryan Teicher and Joe Orsita of REDCOM, Fanwood Councilwomen Erin McElroy Barker and Gina Berry, Economic Development Director Liz Jeffery, and Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Faith Delaney and Board of Directors President Jim Mooney at the event. The REDCOM team provided construction management services and final delivery of the space. Work began in fall 2025 and was completed in May 2026. - PROVIDED BY REDCOM
  • Zoubek Properties President and CEO Brian Zoubek marked the opening of The Residences at Orange Loop May 20 — a design-forward luxury townhome project just steps from the beach on Kentucky Avenue in Atlantic City. Zoubek Properties noted the project signals the next phase of mixed-use and residential investment in the city. According to the team behind it, the development strengthens the ecosystem beyond casino tourism, offering coastal luxe living at an accessible price point. Gov. Mikie Sherrill, Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr., and other elected officials and business leaders joined Zoubek for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. - PROVIDED BY BE MEDIA
  • Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care celebrated the grand re-opening of its franchise location at 128 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park May 2. Kiddie Academy of Florham Park, owned and operated by Dr. Shilpa Sahay and her husband Nishant Kumar, held a special STEM Adventures and ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Mayor Mark Taylor to mark the occasion. The nearly 12,500-square-foot location is equipped with eight classrooms and features a fully enclosed outdoor playground equipped with age-appropriate structures and live-stream camera access for families throughout the facility. Kiddie Academy of Florham Park is licensed to serve 126 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. - PROVIDED BY KIDDIE ACADEMY
