PrimoHoagies is celebrating new ownership of its Mahwah location by treating customers to a day of discounts.
Scheduled for Dec. 19, the Ridge Road storefront will offer Primo Size Hoagies to Primo Rewards members for just $7.99 all day, the Westville-based sandwich franchise said.
In a statement, new owner Joe Spaccavento said, “As I explored franchise opportunities, PrimoHoagies immediately caught my attention. Their commitment to superior quality and their exceptional establishments left a lasting impression. After diving deep into the business, I knew it was the perfect fit.”
He added, “Their familial culture embraced me, my wife Karen, and our kids—Anna Bella, Anthony, and Madeline—right from the start. Today, I’m proud to be the owner of Mahwah’s PrimoHoagies, where I’m able to share my passion for food with my community.”
The transition comes more than four years after franchisee Christopher Amico opened the outpost.
The 1,500-square-foot shop operates 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.
Popular for its specialty sandwiches made with high-quality meats, cheeses and fresh-baked rolls, the 31-year-old franchise plans to surpass 300 restaurants over the next five years.
The chain currently has more than 120 locations across the U.S. Within New Jersey, Primo Hoagies has 30-plus stores.
USA Today’s readers’ choice awards recently named the brand America’s No. 1 sandwich shop for the second year in a row.
