Performance apparel retailer is launching its first stores in New Jersey.

Following its May 16 grand opening at The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, the brand expects a May 23 unveiling of its new shop in Princeton at Palmer Square.

Founded in 2014 by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts, Rhone began as a men’s sportswear brand sold via a direct-to-consumer e-commerce shop. The Stamford, Conn.-based brand has since expanded to form retail partnerships with Bloomingdales, Dillard’s, Nordstrom and Equinox.

Since then, Rhone has ramped up its brick-and-mortar footprint to open 20 branded locations across the U.S. It has also branched out last year to begin offering women’s apparel.

At , Rhone is located on the lower level by Ralph Lauren and the recently launched Eataly dining and grocery concept. It is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
