Rhone sets NJ debut with back-to-back store launches (photos)

Performance apparel retailer Rhone is launching its first stores in New Jersey.
Following its May 16 grand opening at The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, the brand expects a May 23 unveiling of its new shop in Princeton at Palmer Square.
Founded in 2014 by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts, Rhone began as a men’s sportswear brand sold via a direct-to-consumer e-commerce shop. The Stamford, Conn.-based brand has since expanded to form retail partnerships with Bloomingdales, Dillard’s, Nordstrom and Equinox.
Since then, Rhone has ramped up its brick-and-mortar footprint to open 20 branded locations across the U.S. It has also branched out last year to begin offering women’s apparel.
At The Mall at Short Hills, Rhone is located on the lower level by Ralph Lauren and the recently launched Eataly dining and grocery concept. It is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
