Rumble Boxing, a boxing-inspired group fitness concept, is packing a punch in New Jersey.

After opening eight locations across the state in recent years, the franchise will continue growing its footprint with new studios in Morristown, Short Hills and Montclair.

The brand launched seven years ago in New York City. Rumble Boxing offers a 45-minute, 10-round strength and conditioning workout designed for all levels set to custom hip-hop and dance tracks. The high-energy classes are led by seasoned trainers who want to help participants improve their stamina and strength in a fun way.

In addition to first-timers, pro and amateur fighters, the concept has attracted several celebrity fans, such as musician Justin Bieber, soccer player David Beckham, actor Kevin Hart and actress-musician Selena Gomez.

The Morristown location (89 Morris St.) is set to open March 4. Dates have not yet been announced for Montclair (536 Bloomfield Ave.) and Short Hills (770 Morris Turnpike).

Rumble Boxing in Morristown is owned and operated by Ye Zhang and husband-wife team Miguel and Jasmin Cueto. The trio has plans to soon launch two additional locations in Parsippany and Basking Ridge.

Rumble Boxing launched its franchise opportunity after Xponential acquired it in 2021. The global franchise group of fitness brands’ portfolio includes StretchLab, Row House, Pure Barre, CycleBar and YogaSix.

The chain has grown to nearly 70 locations in the U.S. There are a “substantial number of additional studios” in development as well, according to a spokesperson. Rumble also has an international presence with outposts in Australia and the Dominican Republic. Additional openings are set in Mexico and Kuwait.

Within New Jersey, Rumble Boxing is located in Englewood, Hoboken, Edgewater, Westfield, Princeton, Livington, Montvale and Shrewsbury.
