Three new tenants are set to join The Shops at Pier Village in Long Branch, Kushner announced on March 24, and will open their doors later this spring.
Fitness concept Phorm, from the owners of Gold’s Gym; fashion boutique aXd by Alba; and fine art photography studio Baldy Art Gallery will join the oceanfront residential, retail and recreation destination.
“Bringing our vision to fruition has always hinged on attracting a diverse lineup of shopping, entertainment and dining tenants to what continues to be one of New Jersey’s most in-demand retail developments,” said Nicole Kushner Meyer of Kushner. “We’re excited to welcome our new retailers to our tenant roster and for our residents and the more than 2.3 million visitors that enjoy all that Pier Village has to offer throughout the year to experience these exciting new retail options.”

Phorm will occupy a 1,650-square-foot space at The Shops. According to Kushner, Gold’s Gym, which has been a tenant at the property for more than 15 years, will augment its existing 16,000-square-foot space to serve customers across both locations.
Woman’s boutique aXd by Alba, where everything is under $100, will launch its fifth location in Long Branch in a 1,730-square-foot space. The new spot marks its southern-most in the state; other locations for the shop voted one of 201 Magazine’s “Best Fashion Boutiques” and the “Best Store in Hoboken” are in Ridgewood, Hoboken, Summit and Morristown.
Baldy Art Gallery is the first entity of its kind to open at Pier Village. Occupying 1,700 square feet, Kushner said the gallery will exhibit photography from established and up-and-coming artists from around the world using the latest techniques for grand format photography. Baldy intends to host special events and openings throughout the summer.
The shore destination also added a trio of new tenants in January. According to Pierson Commercial Real Estate Director Ryan Starkman, “The robust leasing activity that we have already seen in 2022 speaks to the continued appeal of Pier Village and we look forward to seeing each of these exciting businesses open their doors for the summer.” Pierson is the exclusive retail leasing agent for The Shops at Pier Village.
Pier Village is comprised of more 130,000 square feet of retail space — offering a mix of restaurants and shops, 493 rental residences, 243 upscale condos and 91 hotel rooms.
