Toastique, a gourmet toast and juice bar, is preparing to make its Bergen County debut.
Located at 2-4 Garber Square in Ridgewood, the fast-casual brand expects to open Nov. 23 at 8 a.m.
As part of the grand opening festivities, the first 100 customers in line will receive $50 in Toastique rewards dollars. According to the brand, guests can redeem the perk via their loyalty accounts during a future visit with a minimum $10 purchase.
Founded six years ago in Washington, D.C., Toastique strives to make healthy eating accessible and simple. The menu includes gourmet toast, cold-pressed juice, smoothies, fruit bowls, café-style coffee and nitro cold brew coffee. It also offers grab-and-go items, like salads.
Since the company began franchising in 2019, its footprint has grown to 30 outposts nationwide. Locally, Toastique has locations in Hoboken, Stone Harbor and Chatham.
Housed in one of Ridgewood’s oldest buildings in the village’s historic district, the upcoming location will offer both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s also directly across from the NJ Transit station, giving rail commuters a convenient place to grab coffee or breakfast before starting their day.
Following its grand opening, Toastique will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Owned and operated by Emil Trione and Laura Trione, the store is the first of three Toastique spots the husband-wife team plans to eventually launch in North Jersey. Additional details on other upcoming locations has not yet been disclosed.
“Downtown Ridgewood is an area we know and love, and bringing Toastique to Ridgewood is something we’ve imagined since discovering the concept in Stone Harbor four years ago,” said Laura Trione.
“As residents of the greater Ridgewood area, we understand the village’s dynamic and want to provide a restaurant where guests can enjoy fresh and easy breakfast, lunch, and post-work meals. We already feel so much love and support from the Ridgewood community, so we can’t wait to open up and share what Toastique has to offer,” she said.
