Vantage Commercial brings vet to Cherry Hill complex

Former retail space in Cherry Hill will be repurposed as a medical office for a new veterinarian tenant at a complex undergoing a redevelopment after fire destroyed one of its three buildings.

On Thursday, Vantage Commercial announced South Jersey Cat Clinic leased 1,875 square feet of space at Towne Center at Short Hills on Evesham Road.

Vantage Commercial Director of Healthcare Services Emily Stein represented Short Hills Town Center II LP, the owners, in this transaction.

Joining co-tenants including Hair Play Salon, Oliva Nail Lounge, Primo’s Water Ice and Babylon Barbers, South Jersey Cat Clinic expands the roster further as property ownership envisions a mix of occupiers fulfilling professional, retail and service-oriented uses.

In a statement, Jay Wegweiser of Short Hills Town Center II LP credited Cherry Hill-based Vantage with assisting the complex’s growth over the past year, since the firm was named its exclusive broker. The firm brought on Babylon Barbers in July and Primo’s Water Ice in April.

“Their team has worked tirelessly to find tenants that are a great fit for the shopping center, and they have been extremely successful in securing these tenants,” he said. “With the addition of the South Jersey Cat Clinic and Dr. Jaclyn Bell, they have filled all the vacancies in the existing 484 E. Evesham Building, leaving just one remaining vacancy at the property.

“We are excited about the future and have the utmost confidence that Vantage will continue their efforts to bring new, long term tenants to the redevelopment of the 480 E. Evesham building to join Starbucks,” Wegweiser added.

Bell is the owner of South Jersey Cat Clinic, which offers advanced medical and surgical services.
