Wawa partners with ezCater to offer corporate catering

As more and more employees return to commuting and working in person, popular convenience store Wawa wants to smooth the transition.

In a May 16 press release, Wawa announced it is partnering with leading corporate food solutions provider ezCater to launch a corporate catering program, allowing workplaces to have their orders delivered directly from any of the chain’s 1,000-plus stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Washington, D.C.

The menu includes a variety of breakfast items, like Wawa’s signature Sizzli sandwich and coffee, and lunch options, including custom prepared hoagies, all of which can be ordered individually packaged or in trays, depending on the workplace’s needs.

Wawa’s director of digital experience, Steve Hackett, said, “Thanks to this new partnership with ezCater, we now have the ability to reach more business customers with our fresh offers, perfect for breakfast, meetings and corporate events.”

“We see this as a great way to provide even more convenience to the business community,” Hackett added.

Headquartered in Boston, ezCater connects businesses with the more than 100,000 restaurants and caterers on its platform, from local independent restaurants to national chains.
