Many popular chains are cooking up discounts for National Burrito Day.
The celebration takes place on the first Thursday of April. The annual occasion gives restaurants a chance to roll out deals, limited-time menu items and promotions for the fan-favorite item.
So far, several brands with a local presence have revealed freebies and specials for the April 2 food holiday. This year’s participants include Jersey Shore-born Mexican fusion concept Bubbakoo’s Burritos, as well as national chains.
“Burritos are what built Bubbakoo’s. National Burrito Day is one of our favorite food holidays because it gives us an excuse to go big for our guests,” said CEO Chris Ives. “Whether you’re loading yours with hibachi steak and shrimp, crispy buffalo chicken or stacking it with all your favorite toppings, it’s all about creating something different and celebrating the burrito.”

The fast casual’s National Burrito Day promotion features a buy-one, get-one-free burrito to rewards members who use the promo code BURRITODAY during online or in-app checkout at its 50-plus restaurants in New Jersey. The offer is valid April 1-2.

The chain is giving free delivery on National Burrito Day orders of $10 or more to customers who order online or via the app. Rewards members also have a chance to win free burritos for a year or free food April 2 by playing a digital game.
Rewards members can redeem a one-time only buy one, get one deal on burritos, bowls or value meals between March 31–April 2. Moe’s has 20 stores in New Jersey.
Qdoba Mexican Eats
New and existing rewards members will receive a free burrito or bowl with the purchase of an entrée and drink. The offer is valid April 2 for orders online, in-app or in-store at Qdoba’s roughly 30 locations across New Jersey.
