Wildwoods Restaurant Week kicks off

Summer’s not yet officially here, but Wildwoods Restaurant Week is already welcoming hungry tourists to the area’s eateries.
Running June 11-15, with another set for Sept. 10-14, the Wildwoods Restaurant Association event features a prix fixe, four-course dinner (plus tax and gratuity) at participating Wildwoods restaurants.
To date, participating restaurants include:
- Alfe’s Restaurant
- Crab House
- Dogtooth Bar & Grill
- MudHen Brewing Co.
- Pasta Pesto Italian Grill
- Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza & Kitchen
- The Surfing Pig
- The Swine Bar
- The Wharf
- Flip Flopz
Organizers encourage interested diners to check the website often, as more restaurants and menus are being added.
As NJBIZ reported, state tourism officials are expecting a strong summer season and anticipate visitor volume and spending to beat 2019 levels.
Restaurant weeks are another way for towns to encourage tourists and residents alike to support local eateries, especially after many were hit hard by the pandemic, as well as increasing costs and worker shortages.
