After Chief Executive Officer and President Nicholas Papanier Jr. took control of the sandwich chain’s Sewell location, loyal customers are being treated to a day of discounts, giveaways and games.

Scheduled for Dec. 1, the Egg Harbor Road storefront will offer Primo Size Hoagies to Primo Rewards members for just $6.99 each between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the Westville-based sandwich franchise announced.

As part of the festivities, there will also be a DJ and games as well as a chance to win $25,000 and a complimentary T-shirt giveaway to the first 100 customers in line.

Sewell – which opened in March as the chain’s 100th location – “was doing well but it was mutually decided with the original owners that, given its location in the neighborhood of the PrimoHoagies headquarters, this would be an ideal store for Nicholas to own and oversee day-to-day. It’s also very sentimental to Nicholas as it marks the brand’s 100th location,” a company spokesperson told NJBIZ.

Nicholas Papanier Jr. was named owner, president and CEO of PrimoHoagies in October 2019.

Papanier also owns and operates PrimoHoagies stores in Sicklerville and Woolwich, as well as three shops in Philadelphia — the city where the brand was born back in 1992.

Known for its specialty sandwiches made with high-quality meats, cheeses and fresh-baked rolls, the franchise is continuing efforts to expand nationally, with plans to surpass 300 restaurants over the next five years. PrimoHoagies currently has more than 100 locations across the U.S. – including over 30 restaurants in New Jersey.
