Big news in South Jersey. Allegiant Air announced it will begin serving Atlantic City with the addition of four new routes.
“We’re thrilled to bring our brand of low-cost, high-value travel to one of New Jersey’s most iconic destinations,” Allegiant Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said in an Aug. 13 statement.
Made at Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), the announcement revealed new routes between Atlantic City and the following Florida airports:
Allegiant will offer one-way fares on the new AC-Florida routes from as low as $39. Seats and dates are limited. Fares are not available on all flights. Flights must be purchased by Aug. 14, 2025, for travel by May 19, 2026. Find more details here.
To mark the additions, Allegiant will offer one-way fares on the new routes from as low as $39 for a limited time.
The airline noted that this news follows two other recent route expansions. The moves build on Allegiant’s growth strategy and dedication to offering more travel options to underserved communities as well as a commitment to convenient, nonstop air travel.
“Connecting this vibrant community with several cities across Florida not only strengthens our leisure network, but opens up more affordable and convenient travel options for our customers in both regions,” said Wells. “It’s a win for travelers seeking sun and sand, and for those who want to experience the coastal charm of the Eastern Seaboard or stroll Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk.”
South Jersey Transportation Authority Executive Director Stephen Dougherty said that the collaboration between Allegiant Air and Atlantic City International Airport will benefit travelers, tourism and the business community for many years to come.
“By continuing to expand travel options, we will welcome more visitors to experience all that South Jersey has to offer and will continue to strengthen the economic vitality of our region and the entire state,” said Dougherty.
In a press release, Gov. Phil Murphy applauded the news.
“Allegiant Air’s addition of four new flights from Atlantic City International Airport represents a significant investment in New Jersey’s travel infrastructure,” said Murphy. “This expansion will create new travel opportunities for New Jerseyans, fueling the future success of transportation reliability across our state.”
