The Middlesex-based developer announced on Thursday it will start work on the site, beginning with the demolition of a vacant office building on the property, after receiving the necessary construction permits and financing for the project.
The PriceSaver store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2019, with fresh foods sourced from local producers, according to Forte.
“This supermarket is a great addition to the development and the town,” Forte President Massimo Pinelli said in a release. “It will bring jobs and tax revenue to Middlesex and provide a much-needed grocery store to residents on and around Lincoln Boulevard.”
