Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is poised to open its fourth restaurant in New Jersey.
Located at 1107 Route 130 in Cinnaminson, the retro-themed quick-service chain will begin serving up its signature cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and freshly churned frozen custard on Dec. 5, according to a spokesperson.
Following the grand opening, the restaurant will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday to Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
According to Freddy’s, the 2,795-square-foot location seats 78 guests, has additional patio seating and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the brand’s app and website is also available.
Commenting on the launch, local franchise owner Brian Bowman said, “We’re thrilled to enter this dynamic neighborhood that is flourishing with restaurants and retail businesses. Our location makes us an easily accessible dining option for guests traveling along the highway, as well as guests looking for a place to eat after shopping at our retail neighbors.”
Bowman, who also owns and operates Freddy’s in Burlington, added, “We enjoy informing first-time Freddy’s guests about our menu and concept. And then, when they begin to frequent Freddy’s, we go from remembering faces to remembering orders; it’s a personal touch that our guests truly value. We’re delighted to join the Cinnaminson community and appreciate the excitement surrounding our opening.”
Founded 22 years ago in Wichita, Kan., Freddy’s now has over 530 outposts in 36 states. As part of a nationwide expansion effort, the brand aims to reach 800 units by 2026.
Within New Jersey, Freddy’s has launched in Linden, Burlington and Toms River over the past three years. It also expects an early 2025 opening on Route 1 in North Brunswick.
After that, Freddy’s will add four eateries in Monmouth County as part of a development deal with franchisee Peter Labib. The locations have not yet been announced, but Labib told NJBIZ he anticipates the grand opening of his first restaurant by next summer.
New Jersey is just one of several key markets Freddy’s is looking to build its presence. The franchise is also focused on growth in Washington, Illinois, Iowa and Texas.
