Following an assist from Cresa, word that New Jersey Brain and Spine would open a new office with over 16,000 square feet of space in Paramus came out last fall. Now, the neurosurgical care team is debuting its new digs.
NJBS revealed its state-of-the-art outpost at 650 From Road in May. The team occupies Suite 220 at the 100%-leased, trophy office property.
With plenty of space, the new location enhances access to surgical consultations and follow-up care for adults as well as pediatric patients with complex brain and spine conditions, NJBS said.
“We have always strived to remain at the forefront of advanced care and our new Paramus location is no exception,” said Dr. Reza Karimi, a neurosurgeon at NJBS. “Our goal is to provide expert, innovative, personalized and compassionate care for patients … Our newest location is about giving our patients the best care, most advanced treatment options, all with the least disruption to their lives.”
Cresa Managing Principals Jonathan Marks and Dennis Gralla arranged New Jersey Brain and Spine’s move.
Bill Kimmerle of Kimmerle Newman designed the care provider’s new space. Cresa Project Manager Justin Eagle and New Jersey Brain and Spine’s Jeanmarie Falco oversaw the work, while Three 17 Construction served as general contractor.
After founding the Medical Practice Group in Cresa’s New Jersey office, Jonathan Marks launched his own advisory in April.

Clinical: Medical Real Estate Solutions does just that. The Hackensack businesses aligns clinical strategy, operations and real estate, serving clients ranging from physicians, medical groups and hospitals to management services organizations and investors.
“A lot of people are in the real estate business that happen to do medical,” Marks told NJBIZ last month. “I’m more in the medical advisory business,” he explained.

Founding neurosurgeon Dr. Patrick Roth said the new location reflects NJBS’s commitment to offering care closer to home. “It allows us to offer expert evaluations and surgical consultations right here in Bergen County, without patients needing to travel into the city,” he said.
The new 650 From Road location boasts proximity to the Garden State Parkway and Route 17. NJBS has additional locations in Hackensack, Montclair and Montvale.
