A collection of your photos from the fun, fruitful, charitable, honorable and miscellaneous happenings in the New Jersey business community.

  • Eat Clean Bro co-founder Kayla Giovinazzo, pictured here, ran the 2024 New York City Marathon to raise money for Children's Specialized Hospital. As one of the owners of the Eatontown-based Eat Clean Bro, Giovinazzo is not only a leader in the healthy meal prep industry, but also a passionate advocate for children’s health. Established with her husband, Jamie Giovinazzo, they’ve built Eat Clean Bro into a household name in the meal delivery space. RWJ Children's Specialized Hospital Team raised $18,823, while Kayla Giovinazzo personally raised $5,067. - PROVIDED BY EAT CLEAN BRO
  • FellowshipLIFE Foundation hosted its 14th annual gala at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick Nov. 1. The proceeds raised during the event will go toward the Fellowship Foundation Life Enrichment Fund, which supports all FellowshipLIFE communities in ensuring residents experience top-quality programs, services and facilities. This event was the first since recently adding Applewood Village in Freehold. During the gala, FellowshipLIFE honored five standout Residents of the Year: Frank Stallone - Riverwalk Village, Hackettstown; Jay Katz - Pines Village, Whiting; Richard “Dick” Young - Friends Village, Woodstown; David Badertscher - Fellowship Village, Basking Ridge; and Beverly Stern, Posthumous Honoree - Applewood Village. • More than 250 industry leaders – including past NAIOP New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees – gathered in the soaring atrium of the Jewel Box at Gateway Center in Newark Nov. 4 to honor six volunteer members of the commercial real estate development association for their outstanding leadership, advocacy and career accomplishments. Honorees and others pose here at the event. • More than 200 guests came out Nov. 6 to the Scouting America Northern New Jersey Council’s annual “Prepared. For Life” event, to honor four professionals who embody the values of Scouting in their personal and professional lives: Maureen Bosetti of Montclair, chief investment off cer of IPG Mediabrands; Harold Bryant, executive producer of CBS Sports; Matthew Brauner of Jersey City, president of Brauner International Corp.; and Phillip Koblence, COO and co-founder of NYI and co-Founder of Nomad Futurist. Fox Five’s Good Day New York host, and former scout, Dan Bowens, left, served as Master of Ceremonies. • Bergen New Bridge Medical Center recently acquired the da Vinci 5 Surgical System by Intuitive, which will allow for less invasive surgeries while enabling better outcomes. This system provides patients with shorter hospital stays, reduced pain, lower risk of infection, as well as shorter recovery times. The hospital celebrated the debut Nov. 8. One of only a few hospitals in the state to offer this leading-edge technology, President and CEO Deborah Visconi, cutting the ribbon at left, described it as “a game changer for the Medical Center, our surgeons, and most importantly, our patients.” - PROVIDED BY BERGEN NEW BRIDGE MEDICAL CENTER
  • Thanks to a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs 2023 Main Street New Jersey Transformation Strategy Grant, the Downtown West Orange Alliance enhanced the Main Street Business District with a new Sky Mural. Filled with butterflies, "Imagination Alley" had its official dedication ceremony at the start of November. A $33,000 grant was earmarked for improvements designed to activate a dark alleyway at 40 Main St., which connects a large parking lot to Main Street. The colorful, light-up butterflies, carefully strung from the top of the left building to the right and along the entire length of the walk, now illuminate what was once a dark, uninviting alleyway, creating a new experience for visitors to the Main Street Business District. An added feature lets visitors pose for photos with two larger-than-life illuminated butterflies.
