  • Chris Martin, executive chairman, Provident Bank, recently completed the Disney Half Marathon held in Orlando, Fla., raising $37,234 in individual contributions to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Martin was part of a group from New Jersey that raised nearly $108,000 in support of the mission of the LLS.   • Stew Leonard’s held a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Look-alike Contest and Superbowl Party Feb. 7 at its Clifton store.   • The 2025 New Jersey Youth Soccer Awards Dinner Presented by RWJBarnabas Health was hosted Jan. 31 at the Pines Manor in Edison.   • Bank of America recently presented Fulfill, the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, with a $50,000 donation as part of BofA’s support of nonprofit organizations that provide access to health care, food access and nutrition, family stabilization and other poverty-related issues. The gift will support food distribution to Fulfill’s 300-plus pantry partners, as well as help the food bank continue to comprehensively fight hunger in the Jersey Shore region.   • More than 100 volunteers from New Jersey banks participated in NJBankers’ Day of Love & Compassion to combat food insecurity Feb. 14. Participants donated their time to several food banks across the state, including the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Fulfill and Mercer Street Friends. This eff ort is part of NJBankers’ pledge to donate 1 million meals to fight hunger in New Jersey. To date, NJBankers and its members have donated nearly 900,000 meals.
