PrimoHoagies is celebrating the grand opening of its second Bergen County location with free sandwiches for the first 100 customers.
Located at 57 Allendale Ave. in Allendale, the fast casual sandwich chain is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on Feb. 14 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the festivities, customers enrolled in the chain’s complimentary rewards program will enjoy Primo Size Hoagies for just $6.99, according to PrimoHoagies.
Franchised by Jeff and Elisa Beaudette, a local husband-wife team, the 1,800-square-foot shop is expected to employ about 20 workers and will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Along with options to dine in, the restaurant will offer takeout, delivery and catering services.
Jeff Beaudette, who is also the owner and president of Paramus-based JRB Construction Management Inc., and his wife first discovered PrimoHoagies while vacationing in Avalon and decided to explore helping the franchise expand its footprint in North Jersey.
“My dad always dreamed of opening a restaurant, so for me and my family, opening PrimoHoagies, with its focus on homemade recipes and tradition, provides the perfect opportunity to build something together, centered on our love of family and food,” said Jeff Beaudette. “What’s more, we love the hoagies and know the Allendale community will become instant fans of the best new place to grab a delicious lunch or dinner.”
Founded 30 years ago in Philadelphia, the chain is popular for its diverse menu featuring specialty sandwiches made with high-quality meats and cheeses piled high on fresh-baked rolls.
The Westville-headquartered company now has more than 95 locations across the country and is in the midst of expanding its business in both new and existing markets.
Within New Jersey, PrimoHoagies has restaurants in Avalon, Burlington, Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Collingswood, Egg Harbor, Ewing, Galloway, Hackettstown, Hamilton Square, Hammonton, Mahwah, Marlton, Medford, Mount Laurel, Moorestown, North Wildwood, Ocean City, Rio Grande, Rockaway, Runnemede, Sea Isle City, Sicklerville, Somers Point, Vineland, Voorhees, West Orange, Wildwood Crest and Woolwich.
Altogether, PrimoHoagies aims to open more than 140 stores in 2023 as part of a goal to launch 300 to 350 locations in the next five years.
