Leading certified public accounting and financial services firm Smolin Lupin recently made a big change.

After 24 years in Fairfield, Smolin has moved into a 20,000-square-foot space at 10 Waterview Blvd. at Waterview Corporate Centre in Parsippany.

Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey arranged the new lease. RRNNJ announced Smolin’s move Aug. 19, following the firm’s recent ribbon-cutting celebration.

“Smolin’s move to Waterview Corporate Centre is more than just a change of address; it’s a strategic investment in their future,” noted RRNNJ founder and Principal Tom Consiglio. “This new space provides a dynamic, amenity-rich environment that aligns with their culture of innovation and collaboration, making it the perfect home to attract and retain top talent for years to come.”

Consiglio spearheaded the tenant representation assignment along with firm Principal Scott Peck.

Teams in search of “amenity-rich” environments that boost collaboration and entice employees to want to come into the office continue to drive moves in the marketplace. In its 2025 second quarter report on the sector, CBRE noted, “While much of the New Jersey office market is experiencing sporadic progress, prime buildings – the market’s highest quality assets – are clearly outperforming the rest of the market.”

According to RRNNJ’s announcement, Smolin’s new state-of-the-art office – featuring advanced tech – is in line with a company commitment to innovating, growing and attracting top talent. The company has ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey for at least the past three years – a distinction determined by employee feedback.

In the neighborhood

Shake Shack, Old Navy, The Paper Store, DSW Warehouse, Homesense and Whole Foods Market are all within an 8-minute walk of Waterview Corporate Centre.

Other notable firms planning to or recently updating their New Jersey spaces include Casio America, Riker Danzig, Tevogen and Advil maker Haleon.

Tracey Kasper of Kasper Collaborative LLC also served as part of the tenant’s representative team along with Smolin and RRNNJ. As project manager for the new office space, Kasper spearheaded the design and buildout phases.

Waterview Corporate Centre sits on 18 acres in a park-like setting and features a dramatic three-story glass and granite atrium with second- and third-floor balcony lobbies. RRNNJ noted additional amenities, such as a full-service café with seating, fitness center with Peloton stations, yoga studio, tenant lounge/game room, covered solar carports, outdoor seating area, on-site conference center and after-hours keycard accessibility.

For commuters and otherwise, the location offers direct access to Route 202, with nearby connections to Route 46 as well as Interstates 80 and 287.

New CIO

Smolin also welcomed Don Logan in September as its new chief information officer.

According to the firm, he brings more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives.

Smolin says the move underscores its commitment to innovation security and operational excellence. It noted Logan’s past leadership has enabled organizations to scale efficiently, reduce operational costs and enhance performance.

Smolin said Logan will oversee the full-service accounting and advisory firm’s technology roadmap. His work will include ensuring IT investments support strategic objectives and deliver value to clients and shareholders.

That aligns with Logan’s career experience at top 100 global accounting firms, such as Grassi, Friedman LLP, PKF O’Connor Davis LLP and others, according to his LinkedIn profile. Smolin highlighted his success at aligning IT strategies with business goals and delivering measurable impact across cloud infrastructure, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity.
