Salad-and-bowl chain Sweetgreen will launch its eighth location in New Jersey.

Located at 221 E. Broad St. in Westfield, the Los Angeles-based fast-casual brand is set to begin welcoming customers Feb. 4.

Founded in 2007, Sweetgreen is popular for its customizable bowls, salads and sides made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

The chain’s footprint of about 230 locations nationwide includes seven spots in New Jersey:

Morristown
Hackensack
Shrewsbury
Marlton
Montclair
Jersey City
Montvale

In Westfield, the 2,815-square-foot restaurant will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily for pickup, takeout and dining in.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. opening day, Sweetgreen will hand out “wellness bags” with exclusive offers from Club Pilates, Rumble, Bar Method and Satsang Yoga Studio. Attendees will also be able to enjoy mini flower bouquets from Larkspur Botanicals, a woman-led, events-based floral design firm in Dumont.

Additionally, for every meal purchased during the grand opening, the location will donate a meal to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
