A New York City-born smash burger chain is supercharging its footprint in New Jersey.
According to its website, 7th Street Burger expects the following grand openings:
Founded in 2021 by two college friends in the East Village, the quick-service eatery specializes in smash burgers and regular burgers. Its menu also includes fries and vegetarian burgers made with Impossible brand meat substitute.
In addition it its simple menu, the chain is known for its focus on speed, affordability and late-night service until at least midnight daily.
For instance, a cheeseburger costs $6.50 while a side of fries is $4.50. A double cheeseburger is $9.50 and loaded fries are about $12.
Its portfolio of 20 company-owned outposts spans New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
7th Street Burger made its New Jersey debut three years ago in Hoboken.
According to hyperlocal news site Hoboken Girl, 7th Street Burger plans on relocating its Hoboken spot to a bigger space downtown. Currently located at 410 Washington St., the chain is taking over a storefront at 112 Washington St. previously occupied by now-bankrupt chicken tender concept Sticky’s Finger Joint.
