Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is unveiling its latest restaurant in New Jersey.
Located at 68 Mountain Blvd. in Warren, the outpost began welcoming customers March 10.
Founded 50 years ago by a brother and sister in Delaware, Capriotti’s specializes in subs, cheesesteaks and salads. In addition to dine-in, carryout and delivery options, the brand has a catering lineup that includes cold sub party trays, box lunches and a hot homemade meatball bar.
Now owned by a group of Las Vegas investors, the franchise aims to grow from its current footprint of 175 U.S. locations to 750 units nationwide by 2032.
At Warren Village, Capriotti’s joins a tenant mix that includes Acme Markets, Starbucks, Tropical Smoothie Café, The UPS Store, Atlantic Health Urgent Care and European Wax Center.
Capriotti’s is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The new location marks the third Capriotti’s to open as part of a franchise agreement with local husband-wife team Jimit Dharia and Urvi Jatania.
After introducing the brand to New Jersey in January 2025 with a shop in Princeton, the duo followed it up with a Marlton spot last summer.
Under the terms of their deal with the brand, the couple expects to add seven more storefronts across the state. Details on where or when those locations will open were not immediately available.
Originally from India, the couple has more than a decade of experience running restaurants and a construction business. After searching for the right quick-service restaurant concept to invest in, they were drawn to Capriotti’s because of the brand’s reputation for premium, handcrafted sandwiches.
Jimit Dharia said he and his wife are “thrilled to continue growing Capriotti’s in New Jersey.”
“As someone who truly values high-quality food, I’m excited to introduce Capriotti’s bold flavors and exceptional service to even more guests in North Jersey,” he said.
