Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center ranks No. 1 among New Jersey’s cardiac care centers. The hospital reported 1,319 open heart surgeries and 809 TAVR procedures in 2025, totaling 2,128.
The latest compilation is based on open heart surgery and TAVR volumes from Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2025.
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick ranks No. 2, reporting 908 open heart surgeries and 386 TAVR procedures, adding up to 1,294.
Hackensack Meridian Health operates two hospitals in the top five. Jersey Shore University Medical Center ranks No. 3, reporting 825 open heart surgeries and 450 TAVR procedures. Hackensack University Medical Center ranks No. 4, reporting 858 open heart surgeries and 224 TAVR procedures.
Cooper University Health Care rounds out the top five, reporting 740 open heart surgeries and 281 TAVR procedures, adding up to 1,021.
