Sushi spot Kamasu by Kissaki joins The Junction at Gateway Center

Gateway Center in Newark is ready to welcome its 11th dining option to The Junction.

Kamasu by Kissaki has signed on for space within the 100,000-square-foot revamped courtyard, which opens onto Raymond Boulevard in Newark from a dramatic jewel box entrance, Onyx Equities LLC announced June 27.

“Invest Newark is pleased with the effort that clearly has gone into ensuring The Junction at Gateway’s new design welcomes all Newarkers as well as those visiting inside to dine,” said Marcus Randolph, president and CEO of Invest Newark, the city’s economic development agency. “We’re sure Kamasu Sushi will be a welcome addition to the already great diversity of options at The Junction.”

The eatery from Kissaki Hospitality Group joins a lineup that includes: fresh&co, Farinella Artisanal Pizza and Bakery, 375° Chicken ‘n Fries, Chip City Cookies, Dunkin’ and Jersey Mikes, which are already open; and Uncle Willie’s Wings, Mökbar, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop and Serafina, coming soon.
