The NJBIZ Architectural Firms list ranks companies in New Jersey based on the number of New Jersey licensed architects at each firm. Gensler, established in 1965, employs 49 licensed architects at its 10 N. Park Place location in Morristown, ranking first in the state.
Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners ranks second with 28 architects and reports $19.24 million in architectural billings. DMR Architects follows in third place with 27 architects. HDR and Parette Somjen Architects tie for fourth place, each with 25 architects.
Three firms tie for sixth place with 19 architects each: H2M architects + engineers, NK Architects PA and Spiezle Architectural Group Inc. H2M reports the highest architectural billings among all firms at $40.16 million while NK Architects reports $24.88 million.
Notable ranking changes from the previous report include H2M, which moved from 19th place to sixth place, representing the largest improvement. Clarke Caton Hintz improved from 11th to ninth place, while Ware Malcomb moved from 19th to 15th place. DMR Architects improved from fourth to third place.
The data indicates establishment dates ranging from 1933 (H2M architects + engineers) to 2006 (DIGroup Architecture LLC). The firms maintain offices throughout New Jersey, including locations in Morristown, Lambertville, Hasbrouck Heights, Pennington and Newark.
