Belvidere-based is expanding its retail partnership with upscale grocery chain .

In a March 10 press release, the company announced that its U.S. Department of (USDA) organic herbs product line is available at the banner’s 160-plus stores across the country.

The announcement comes four months after Edible Garden began shipping its organic herbs to The Fresh Market.

Edible Garden CEO Jim Kras commented, ““Our successful launch with The Fresh Market in the fourth quarter of 2025 provided an important foundation for this broader rollout.”

“This expanded reflects not only the strength of our operating platform but also the growing relevance of our Zero-Waste Inspired approach as retailers look to meet increasing consumer demand for fresh, organic, responsibly grown products,” he said.

Edible Garden’s lineup of locally grown, sustainable lettuce, organic herbs, hydro basil, salad kits, sauces and protein powders can be found in more than 5,000 stores.

Edible Garden’s retail partners include:

Founded in 1982, The Fresh Market is known for its curated selection of premium quality fresh food, customer service and in-store experience. Recent recognitions for the award-winning Greensboro, N.C.-headquartered chain include best supermarket by USA Today and best specialty grocer by Newsweek.

Within New Jersey, The Fresh Market is in the process of readjusting its brick-and-mortar footprint.

An outpost that opened 15 years ago in Montvale as the chain’s first local store is closing this spring. A spokesperson told NJBIZ earlier this year, “As a growing company, we regularly evaluate our store portfolio to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. After careful consideration, we have made the decision not to renew our lease in Montvale.”

Once The Fresh Market closes, the space will undergo renovations to make way for a Trader Joe’s.

The grocer plans to maintain its presence in Bedminster. About nine years ago, a store in Livingston opened at a former Pathmark in 2014 closed as part of company-wide effort to address underperforming locations.
