Edible Garden expands Kroger retail partnership nationwide

Belvidere-based is growing its retail partnership with one of the biggest supermarket chains in the U.S.

The company announced an expanded agreement with ‘s in an Oct. 14 press release. The deal will bring its fresh, sustainably grown potted herbs and cut herbs to the grocery store’s 2,700 locations nationwide.

Founded in 2015, Edible Garden’s locally grown, sustainable lettuce, organic herbs, hydro basil, salad kits, sauces and protein powders are available at more than 5,000 stores, including:

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Kroger is considered the largest supermarket operator by revenue in the U.S. Besides its namesake banner, Kroger operates brands such as Ralphs, King Scoopers and Dillon’s.
