Fort Monmouth Revitalization Authority

Kopach leads the Fort Monmouth Revitalization Authority as executive director. And indeed, the former military installation is pulsing with new energy. A lot of the buzz at the 1,100-acre property, which spans Oceanport and Tinton Falls, centers on Netflix’s forthcoming East Coast production facility.

In May, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority designated the streaming giant as an official studio partner. With that agreement, Netflix committed to occupying its Fort Monmouth space (292 acres) for at least a decade. At the time, local leaders praised Kopach and her team for their efforts to bring new economic – and social – activity to Fort Monmouth.

Work is also underway on RiverWalk center, a reported $25 million project. The plans include a 10,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant with outdoor seating, 43,500 square feet of retail space; 26,500 sqyare feet of flex/retail space; and a boutique hotel. According to FMRA’s 2023 Annual Report, the project represents a $14 million capital investment that will create 150 jobs. As the campus and momentum continues to build, Kopach seems poised for another big year ahead.
