Connell is a fourth-generation owner – serving as executive vice president of The Connell Co., one of the nation’s largest, diversified, privately held companies. In this role, he oversees various divisions and businesses within the firm’s finance and real estate companies.

One of the major projects under his purview is Connell’s $500 million transformation at The Park at Berkeley Heights, a collegiate-inspired, mixed-use campus. Spanning 185 acres, the property is aimed at becoming a live-work-stay destination.

Last month, the company unveiled Round Table Workspaces, a key component of the “work resort” concept at The Park. “At the center of The Park’s evolution is the redevelopment of our office spaces to create a five-star luxury work resort that fosters a new culture of work/life balance by adding hospitality-driven amenity spaces and services, as well as giving workers opportunity to advance their health, education, and overall wellbeing,” said Connell. “Putting people at the forefront was key in our redesign and is the reason Round Table Workspaces continues to attract top-tier companies to call The Park home.”
