Trenton-based Princeton Public Affairs Group Inc. holds the top spot on the most recent NJBIZ compilation of top lobbying firms, based on 2024 revenue. The firm collected nearly $11 million in receipts last year. 

Also located in Trenton, Public Strategies Impact LLC claimed the No. 2 ranking, recording $8.25 million in receipts. CLB Partners LLC comes in third, earning $6.01 million from its capital city base. 

Fellow Trenton firm MBI GluckShaw landed in the fourth position, managing $4.63 million in receipts. 

The Zita Group ranks fifth and operates from West Trenton. Its 2024 receipts totaled $3.83 million. Gibbons PC, McCarter & English LLP, River Crossing Strategy Group, Optimus Partners LLC and Advocacy & Management Group round out the top 10. 

A few changes among the firms last year include: 

• In October 2024, McCarter & English announced it acquired Connecticut-based Harrington & Smith, picking up all the intellectual property boutique’s attorneys and staff. 
• In December 2024, Riker Danzig LLP announced the firm would relocated its headquarters to Madison, which it completed this July. 
• In early August 2025, Stevens & Lee announced the acquisition of Chatham-based business law firm Brown, Moskowitz & Kallen PC.
