Before joining Alpine Residential in 2019, Rosato cut his teeth as an architect, and gained valuable experience planning, designing, and building residential and mixed-use developments valued at more than $1 billion. With Rosato as managing partner, the firm is a key player in the transformation of Jersey City’s historic Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood into a vibrant and energetic community in the shadow of Liberty State Park.
The firm’s successes in 2024 include The Bergen Lafayette Collection, a series of new mixed-use properties introduced by the developer that have reshaped this energizing neighborhood. The Bergen Lafayette Collection will boast nearly 1,000 apartments across five mixed-use buildings. In addition to offering stylish living spaces and dynamic amenities, these buildings have introduced a vibrant array of community-focused dining and retail options, including the acclaimed Roxy restaurant, Eggs Up breakfast café, premium Japanese donut and bubble tea shop Mochi Dough and Bober Tea, and Cheeky’s “New Orleans-style” sandwiches.
To help his team ensure that projects are done right and on time, Rosato manages the firm’s internal activity, and relations with lending institutions, equity investors, municipalities, consultants, engineers land-use attorneys and others. On the horizon, the developer is set to begin construction on Scholars Village, a mixed-use development that will be part of Liberty Science Center’s SciTech Scity campus.
