The iconic Camden-based company recently underwent rebranding from Campbell Soup Co. to The Campbell’s Co.

This move comes as the company continues its expansion beyond traditional businesses into snacks, sauces and beverages – with notable brands in its portfolio such as Goldfish, Pepperidge Farms, Snyder’s-Lance, and its recent acquisition, Rao’s.

Shareholders approved the name change during a November meeting.

“This subtle yet important change allows us to retain the iconic name recognition, reputation, and equity we have built over 155 years while reflecting the full breadth of our portfolio – which I believe is the best in all of food,” said President and CEO Mark Clouse.

The rebranding is part of a new strategy and mission the company outlined during its investor day – to set the standard for performance in the food industry. “As The Campbell’s Co. we will build on our legacy of quality and innovation, while continuing to grow and meet the evolving needs of consumers,” said Clouse. “We love soup and always will. The iconic red and white Campbell’s soup labels that consumers love will be on shelves forever.”

Clouse recently announced that he we step down as CEO to become president of the Washington Commanders NFL franchise.
