Founded in 1936, Jersey City-based Goya Foods is the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the U.S. and one of the most prominent family-owned businesses in New Jersey.

Its lineup spans over 2,500 high-quality and affordable authentic Latin food products from the Caribbean, Mexico, Spain, Central America and South America, including beans, rice, condiments, beverages and frozen items. The company – which is led by CEO Robert Unanue – employs over 4,000 workers across its 26 facilities in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Spain.

Goya is also known for its many charitable activities.
Through its Goya Gives initiative, the company has consistently led the charge in responding to natural disasters and humanitarian crises, contributing millions of pounds of food annually across the U.S. and around the globe.

Recently, Goya has provided food assistance to communities in Florida, Texas, Mexico and Spain.

The company has also sought to raise awareness of critical mental health issues affecting youth via its Goya Cares initiative. As part of that effort, the company has delivered hundreds of free preventative education programs in schools across the country, reaching more than 130,000 students.
