Franklin Lakes-based global medical technology leader BD just continues to move forward and evolve.

In September, the company completed a $4.2 billion acquisition of Edwards Lifesciences’ Critical Care product group – which is being renamed as BD Advanced Patient Monitoring.

Also in September, BD was named to Time’s 2024 list of World’s Best Companies.

“This accolade is a reflection of the pride that our more than 70,000 global associates have in our purpose, and the contributions they’re making to society through improving the delivery and outcomes of patient care,” said Shana Neal, executive vice president and chief people officer for BD.

“Our growth strategy remains focused on delivering solutions for our customers that leverage significant shifts in technology, like biologics, AI, automation, that are revolutionizing patient care,” said Polen in November when BD announced its fiscal 2024 Q4 results.
