Founded in 2010, Mama’s Creations makes and distributes all-natural beef, turkey, chicken and pork meatballs, as well as other similar Italian products.

Sold at over 8,000 grocery, mass-market, club and convenience stores nationally, including Costco, Kings, Whole Foods, ShopRite, Stop & Shop and The Fresh Market, the East Rutherford-based brand is also available through QVC’s direct platform on live appearances, auto shipments and online purchases.

As part of a rebrand to better reflect the transition into a one-stop shop for prepared foods, the company changed its name in August 2023 from MamaMancini’s to Mama’s Creations. The move came about a year after CPG veteran Adam Michaels took on the posts of CEO and chairman.

Michaels – who spent nearly a decade with Mondelez International in East Hanover – has made several changes, including overhauling the company’s manufacturing process, slashing freight costs and bringing on former Mondelez executive Lauren Sella to handle marketing.

Reflecting on the past year, Michaels said, “We have continued to position Mama’s Creations to grow market share and fully realize our long-term growth potential in the expanding prepared food space as consumer preferences shift toward fresh, prepared meal options.”

“In 2025 we believe our family of brands have significant opportunities to accelerate – both organically and inorganically – as we execute our vision to emerge as a dominant player in the prepared foods space and become the next $1 billion deli solutions provider,” he said.
