From its (current) base in Ridgefield Park, under the leadership of President and CEO KS Choi, Samsung Electronics America offers connected experiences across the tech company’s portfolio of products and services. In fact, you can schedule a visit to the Executive Briefing Center there for a first-hand experience of the collaborative solutions SEA offers.

The feature offers hospitality, finance, retail, health care and education scenarios, as well as a boardroom, training space and casual meeting areas – drawing local and distant executives and teams to the area.

Earlier this year, it was revealed the business would transfer its headquarters within North Jersey, to Englewood Cliffs. At the time, a spokesperson for the company told NJBIZ that, “The move marks an exciting new chapter and we are proud to continue to operate in Bergen County, N.J.”

That’s good news for New Jersey for more than one reason.

In addition to endorsing the state – and its evolving office sector – by staying here, the business is also intent upon having an impact where it operates. That includes leveraging all available resources — ranging from financial support, employee expertise, time, technology and its facilities, as well as collaborating with local nonprofits and programs.

In the Garden State, SEA highlights increasing STEM learning hours and educational tools to public schools through the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition, developing job training/workforce readiness programing at its Samsung Technical Training Center in Teterboro, and providing vital technology to boost workforce preparedness for homeless youth at Covenant House New Jersey’s The Dove Learning Center.
