For more than seven years, Pullin has guided Virtua Health through a period of tremendous growth with steady, purposeful leadership. As president and CEO, Pullin understands that hospitals are the backbone of communities across America, and that the industry must embrace evolution to maximize the benefit to individuals, communities and the nation.
He has helped guide the trusted, community-rooted health system to become an innovative hub for academic medicine that is financially solvent, strategically well-positioned and one of the most trusted health care brands in the country. Recent accomplishments include opening the Enterprise Care Logistics Center – a campus dedicated to improving the continuum of care by comprehensively mapping patient journeys. The center is home to Virtua’s virtual care portfolio, and houses Virtua’s Hospital at Home program, which is one of the largest in the country.
Under Pullin’s leadership, Virtua also secured $8 million in state funding to support and grow the Virtua Health College of Medicine and Life Sciences of Rowan University. His current outside accomplishments include serving as a member of the Economic and Community Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and on the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey Regional board of directors.
