Under Brown’s leadership as CEO, Harris Blitzer Sports Entertainment has grown exponentially – valued as the fifth-most-valuable sports portfolio in the world at $11.86 billion. That portfolio here in New Jersey includes the Devils, Prudential Center, and the Philadelphia 76ers’ offices and practice facility. The Garden State made a pitch to lure the Sixers to Camden with a new basketball arena as a part of a major waterfront redevelopment project. The team ended up staying in South Philly.
In 2024, the Prudential Center marked a notable moment as the UFC held a record-shattering UFC 302 in June.
“As The Rock continues to offer one of the most diverse schedule of events in the country, we proudly open our doors to the thrilling and captivating sport of mixed martial arts and its tremendous fans,” said Brown in a March press release. The Prudential Center brings over 2 million fans annually into the state – and ranks as Billboard’s fifth top venue in the world.
Brown has led a number of programs in the community to promote small businesses and spearheaded initiatives to support the youth in the Garden State.
And in October, he was instrumental in a deal between HBSE and Campbell’s – which makes the Camden-based soup and snack giant an official partner to the Devils, 76ers, Washington Commanders and Joe Gibbs Racing.
