Millard and Valls are co-CEOs of Turtle, a century-old independent distributor of electrical and industrial supplies – one of the largest such companies in the U.S. Turtle’s business units include Electrical Distribution, Integrated Supply, Infrastructure Modernization and Technology Services applying what customers need today and in the future. The company’s portfolio is highlighted by engineering complex power systems for the Hudson Yards microgrid and the World Trade Center reconstruction in New York City, among others.
Millard promotes the future of clean, low carbon energy and works to transform the electrical and power ecosystem with a mission to rethink energy and advance tomorrow, according to the company. She is a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame.
Valls has been with Turtle for more than 20 years and was named co-CEO in 2023 after serving as national manager of the Power Distribution and Automation Solutions department. Before joining Turtle, he was lead sales engineer for large projects at General Electric Co.
