Meadowlands Chamber and Meadowlands Convention and Visitors Bureau

Kirkos is the long-time leader of the Meadowlands Chamber and Meadowlands Convention and Visitors Bureau.

In that role, he has a mission of accelerating economic, community and business development by providing members with networking and relationship building opportunities; destination and tourism marketing services; business education and leadership training; legislative and public affairs advocacy; and workforce development initiatives to businesses of all sizes across all sectors throughout the Meadowlands region.

Kirkos has spearheaded an ambitious effort to bring a long-sought-after Convention Center to the region – at the site of the former Izod Center.

And he is playing an instrumental role in helping members and businesses navigate the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will feature eight games at MetLife Stadium (New York New Jersey Stadium during the tournament), including the Final.

“I feel like it’s our responsibility – the Chamber and our Visitors Bureau – to make sure we are telling the story of this region,” Kirkos told NJBIZ after New Jersey was selected as the site for the Final. “So that when people come, they know that they should come here, spend their discretionary dollars right here in New Jersey, right here in the Meadowlands – because we have so much to offer.”
