Maron is president and CEO of Holy Name Medical Center and continues to drive innovation and growth as the medical center approaches its 100th anniversary. Under his four decades of leadership, Holy Name has remained the state’s last independent Catholic health system, thriving in a competitive market.
A key milestone is the launch of Paix Technologies, Holy Name’s health care technology company in India. Paix enhances patient care and reduces costs by supporting IT and revenue cycle operations complementing New Jersey staff with 24/7 efficiency.
Holy Name is also advancing its proprietary electronic health record, developing mobile apps for physicians and patients, and integrating AI into clinical and operational systems to improve care coordination, enable real-time communication between patients and providers, and support timely coordination of care.
Today, as New Jersey – and the nation as a whole – stares down a growing physician shortage, Holy Name is poised to launch its Graduate Medical Education program and will welcome its first class of resident physicians in June 2025, expected to grow to more than 100 residents in the coming years. In 2024, Holy Name achieved groundbreaking firsts in patient care — from performing the state’s first ultrasound renal denervation procedure for uncontrolled high blood pressure, to offering robotic spinal fusion surgery with 3D imaging.
