One of the state’s preeminent developers with a penchant for big, ambitious projects – Paladino has led New Brunswick Development Corp. since 1994.
Under his leadership, the company has developed 8.3 million square feet in residential, commercial and academic institutional development projects valued at $3.5 billion.
Many of the projects have featured unique public-private partnerships – and have not only achieved key redevelopment objectives but also addressed important public policy goals.
DEVCO’s innovative work can be found in projects such as the development of the Atlantic City campus for Stockton University, the South Jersey Gas headquarters, the College Avenue Redevelopment Initiative on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus, the renovation of the former Rutgers Law School in Newark, the completion of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center and residential tower, and much more. Currently under development are the $900 million Rutgers Cancer Institute – Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center; a new $55 million elementary school; and H-1, the first of three planned HELIX buildings — a $730 million, 12-story, 574,000-square-foot building that will house the new Rutgers School of Medicine, Rutgers Translational Research, The New Jersey Innovation Hub, along with several other key HELIX partners and stakeholders.
