Blatstein thinks big. The founder and CEO of Tower Investments Inc. and his company are widely respected for aggressive and creative urban investments in major projects, and expertise in all aspects of planning, design, construction, financing and leasing.
His redevelopment efforts have created jobs, business opportunities and tax revenues in areas like Atlantic City, where he took Showboat, a failed casino property formerly owned by Caesars Entertainment, and rejuvenated it as a family friendly destination.
Earlier this year, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority board approved a $4.2 million Atlantic City Revitalization Grant Program award to support modifications to Showboat. The funds will be used for an 18,000-square-foot expansion to the Lucky Snake Arcade and Raceway, additional arcade games and attractions, a 10-lane bowling alley and other enhancements.
“Atlantic City has been in the past, and will be again, a world class destination,” Blatstein said.
