Under the leadership of Reddy — chair of The Prudential Foundation and senior vice president, Inclusive Solutions, at Prudential Financial — Prudential is working to expand access to financial security, drive economic progress and strengthen communities.

The foundation’s activities include launching the third annual Community Grants Program, which provides microgrants to individuals and organizations in Newark to support projects that foster community vitality in their neighborhoods.

Over the past decade, Prudential has invested more than $1.1 billion toward improving quality of life in its hometown. Nationally, The Prudential Foundation is helping more Americans achieve their home and real estate ownership dreams through $3.3 million in philanthropic commitments that support organizations focused on making ownership opportunities more accessible and affordable to first-generation buyers and households with low to moderate income.

Globally, Prudential recently fulfilled its $180 million commitment to “opportunity youth,” young people aged 15-29 worldwide who are not connected to school, training or formal employment. Prudential’s commitment has helped improve the financial security of more than 1 million opportunity youth globally, by connecting them to critical education, training and other supports and resources.
